65 Roses for Cystic Fibrosis

Brisbane Cystic Fibrosis65 Roses raises awareness and essential funds to extend and improve the quality of life for people with cystic fibrosis. The Mother's Day campaign raised nearly $15k this year.

On Thursday 5th May the Brisbane Assetivity team helped the Cystic Fibrosis Queensland foundation to destem and wrap roses for their Mother's Day campaign.

By giving their time they were helping raise the $1 million needed each year to provide essential services such as counselling, free equipment hire, home physiotherapy, accommodation, advocacy, education programs and support for children during hospital stays. Cystic Fibrosis is cutting people's life expectancy in half as they have trouble breathing and getting nutrients from food.  The work Cystic Fibrosis Australia is helping children live a longer and healthier life.
