Over a 12 week period, Chika will receive valuable exposure to real, meaningful work and some great learning experiences, including a visit to a client site, one on one coaching from our experienced and approachable Senior Consultants, and the opportunity to take part in some of our Asset Management training courses which will be useful throughout her career.

In return, we have the opportunity to interact with fresh new talent in the engineering field and the satisfaction of contributing to our industry.

Chika studied at University of Newcastle and has just completed her Masters in Engineering Management.

“This is a huge opportunity to be working alongside Senior professional colleagues, and I want to tap into their wealth of experience during my summer vacation and hopefully progress in this career path,” said Chika.

Assetivity is grateful to Austmine for the opportunity to connect with such high calibre applicants.

We’re very happy to support Austmine’s latest initiative, the Women in STEM: METS Career Pathway Program. Supported by funding from METS Ignited, this program aims at raising awareness of METS (mining equipment technology and services) and the career opportunities provided by our sector, across women studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects at universities.
