Graphic Design and Marketing PT Role

Assetivity is a specialist asset and maintenance management consultancy with staff based in Perth and in Brisbane. We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a part-time role as Graphic Design /Marketing Coordinator.
 
Reporting directly to the Office Administrator, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing design and marketing administration to support the efficient provision of consulting services required to take us to the next level of success. We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated individual, who is keen to build on their past experience and “make a difference” to our organisation.  This will involve providing assistance at multiple levels – from the provision of informed guidance in the development of marketing strategies, to the “hands on” execution of specific marketing tasks.  The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate that they are able to take the initiative and adopt a strategic view of our business and how best to market its capabilities, while also having a desire to “get their hands dirty” and pay attention to detail in execution.
 
This is a part-time (20 hours per week), permanent position, located in South Perth.

 

The primary activities to be performed by this role include:

  • Working with Managing Director to develop marketing strategies to meet overall business objectives

  • Developing marketing plans

  • Executing marketing and advertising campaigns

  • Designing brochures, e-newsletters and other marketing collateral

  • Coordinating with consulting staff to implement online content marketing strategies

  • Manage, update and cleanse data within the CRM (Zoho)

  • Manage and maintain the mailing list database (MailChimp)

  • Manage and update all digital platforms including website and social media

  • Produce marketing performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Ensure all brand messages and visuals are consistent

Your Qualifications and Experience

In order to perform the duties and responsibilities of this role, the successful candidate will have the following qualifications, competences and experience:
 
  • Formal qualifications or working towards formal (preferably degree-level) qualifications in Graphic Design and/or Marketing

  • Strong competence in developing high quality, visually appealing print and electronic publications, newsletters and social media posts

  • Strong IT skills, including:

  • Previous experience and high levels of competence in using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Strong skills in using Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

  • Ability and curiosity to use additional digital marketing tools and integrate these within an overall digital marketing platform
  •  Experience managing corporate social media (LinkedIn, Facebook) and digital marketing campaigns
  •  Experience in developing marketing plans and managing the implementation of marketing programs will be highly regarded
  •  Experience with Search Engine Optimisation including the effective use of google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics is desirable
  •  Experience in managing website content using open source Content Management Software (preferably Joomla) is also desirable
     
  • Previous experience working within a Professional Services firm is preferred.
